Manufacturer ZOTAC graphics card comes with a special version of the GTX460 to support up to four screens simultaneously. The card features a dual-link DVI, DisplayPort and three outputs associated offer a resolution of 6400×1200.
Besides the custom connectors, Zotac also tweaked the GPU and shaders. The GPU clock speed has been increased from 675MHz to 710MHz the reference speed, and is therefore linked shader speed of 1350MHz to 1420MHz. The GDDR5 memory, which has 1GB runs @ the default speed of 3600MHz.
The three DisplayPort outputs support each a maximum resolution of 1600×1200 pixels, while the dual-link DVI output displays with resolution up to 2560×1600 can control. The card is bundled with the game Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. The price and availability date are still unknown.
Competitor AMD is pushing for some time on the road with the creation of multiple monitor outputs on one card at a time. Just over one year ago launched its Eyefinity technology, where a single card has at least three and up to six monitors support simultaneously. The latter version uses six mini-DisplayPort outputs.
