A spokesman for Sony Ericsson phone manufacturer would have said to Bloomberg that the company has no plans for more Symbian devices to be build. It will remain a member of the Symbian-foundation.
Spokesman Aldo Liguori also know that the company had its sights focused on Google’s Android operating system. By Bloomberg left the spokesman further stated that the possibility remains that there are smartphones out with other mobile operating systems. From previously published quarterly data showed that Sony Ericsson has benefited from the focus on Google’s mobile OS.
